This a a great piece of writing Charlie, I especially like the opening sentence 'Dreadlocks dangling off the back of her legs.

You have used some great words like "frantically" and "floating gracefully". They really add to your description.
Did you make this in Google drawings or slides? Maybe you could edit your post and add a bit about how your created this piece of work, what you found challenging or easy, and if you would change anything is you did it again.
Keep blogging. I like reading all the work you are doing while leanring from home.

Hi Charlie, I have a really good picture of Ruby in my mind and can make connections with our Richie. He also does that frantic leg wave! Outdoor furniture, every lounge room chair has remnants of hair- evidence of sun seeking! I can tell how much Ruby means to you by the words you have chosen. A really special piece of writing Charlie.
