The Roar

  1. Hi Charlie
This is a very interesting piece of writing. I did not know that Stags reach their full potential at the age of 9. Do you know if New Zealand has any restrictions for hunters when they go to shoot an animal?
I certainly enjoy hearing the stags roaring too and I know this is your favourite time of the hunting year.
I wonder if people realise the images you have included are stags you have photographed on our farm? You have managed to take some great photos, showing the 'Roaring' in action.

    well done

  2. Hello Charlie
A very informative piece of writing Charlie. How much money would you make from selling cast antlers Charlie? I have been hearing stags roaring from my place for the past few weeks.
How many have you and your Dad managed to shoot this roar?
What is your favourite recipe using venison?

Me and dad have got 6 stags this year my brother shot a pretty big one and he was really excited I also got to shot a small one. I don't know exactly how much money you get for cast antlers.I hope your having a nice break. My favourite dish is venison curry my mum makes
